The time zone map shown above is particularly useful while traveling east or west across the U.S. There is also a bit of trivial information in this map. There is a state that borders the Atlantic Ocean and a state that borders the Pacific Ocean that experience the same time of day. Which two are they? Florida and Oregon. There is a portion of Florida that is in the Central Time Zone and a portion of Oregon that is in the Mountain Time Zone.
